Congratulations to our Girl's Volleyball Team who finished the year 12-1.  They entered the playoffs as the number 1 seed and promptly defeated Smythe Academy in the the first round of playoffs 2-0.  Followed by a championship game victory over Norwood Jr. High School.  Way to go ladies and Coach Marks!

Trick or Treat Canned Food Drive:  - Rio Tierra students contributed 1000 cans/non-perishable items to the community food closets.  Thank you students, for your caring and generosity!

The Jump Off School Tour: Friday, 10/30 - Rio Tierra was privileged to have live entertainment from ARAB and TERIN.  The band performed during lunch for the students.

Power Hour Tutoring: - Tuesday through Thursday from 3:20 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.  Transportation home will be provided.

Drop-in Tutoring: - Tuesday: Math with Mrs. Lo; Wednesday: Science with Mrs. Dailey; Thursday: English with Miss Veu.

School Loop: Don't be surprised by your students grades again!  Keep track of his/her grades and assignments on-line.  Contact the office at 286-1500 for registration and log-in information.

School Site Council: We still have one vacancy for parents.  If you would like to become more active in school policy making and school-wide decisions, please contact Mr. Orlando at 286-1506.

Computer Lab: On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. the computer lab room 30 is open for student use.  This is an excellent opportunity to access student grades via School Loop.
